Hexavalent Chromium Exposure Control (HexChEC)

The HexChEC package consists of a training DVD with six short video segments, a 32-page instructor manual with additional information, and a poster, "Exposure Assessment Tool for Stainless Steel Welders," which gives a quick picture of tasks and hazard controls. These three components are designed to be used together to assist welders and their supervisors, health and safety professionals, and welding engineers in recognizing 1) conditions that can result in overexposure to hexavalent chromium, and 2) appropriate control measures to effectively reduce exposures. Please download and use all components together.
