The NIEHS Earthquake Response Training Tool: Protecting Yourself While Responding to Earthquakes is an awareness-level health and safety resource for “skilled support personnel” who will participate in an earthquake response and cleanup. It is available as a PDF file and as a PowerPoint with 104 slides. It covers earthquake basics and general response procedures, identifying and controlling specific hazards created by earthquakes, and task-specific hazards from equipment and procedures used during earthquake responses.
